SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Human Relations' Education (HRE): Increase Mission effectiveness by proactively addressing EOT concepts and policies.
- Mediation: An alternative means for resolving workplace conflict and EOT complaints.
- Complaint Clarification: Service performed for commanders to clarify allegations of discrimination and sexual harassment. The EO staff does NOT conduct a complaint clarification on behalf of the complainant or alleged offender, but instead, acts as a neutral, fact-finding third party.
- Climate Assessments (DEOCS): Service provided for unit commanders with 50 or more assigned personnel. Helps to identify human relations' issues, both positive and negative, that may impact the mission.
- Referrals: The EO staff provides information about on-/off base support services to include Community Action Team (CAT) agencies.
- Key Personnel Briefings: Provides newly assigned base leadership with an up-to-date EOT climate assessment and policy/program information.
- On-Site Human Relations' Lending Library: Collection of articles, periodicals, videos, and books focusing on human relations and social issues. Free pamphlets concerning diversity, communication skills, sexual harassment, etc.
- Technical Advisors: The EO staff provides technical advice/assistance to commanders, first sergeants, and inquiry/investigation officers.
- Commander's Calls and Staff Meeting Briefing: Enable units to discuss contemporary issues and policies firsthand with EO staff members.
