    The North Carolina State Wolfpack baseball team visited Team Offutt on June 14, as a part of the Men’s College World Series festivities.

  • Offutt partners with the community for MARE

    The 55th Wing, assisted by local fire departments, conducted a major accident response exercise (MARE) at Offutt Air Force Base on Saturday, June 8, 2024. This exercise tested the base’s ability to respond to a disaster with multiple casualties.

  • Deployment Leadership Workshop at Offutt

    A deployment leadership workshop was held in the 55th Wing Headquarters building on April 30, 2024 by Headquarters Air Force Directorate of Logistics’ (A4) Tesseract Division in conjunction with Goldratt Consulting.

  • Offutt AFB through the years

    In February 1924, the Douglas County Reserve Officers Association proposed the Fort Crook landing field be named in honor of 1st Lt. Jarvis Offutt. Offutt was Omaha’s first World War I air casualty, who as a U.S. Army Air Service pilot, was killed in 1918 flying with the Royal Air Force in France.

  • Police Week at Offutt AFB

    The Military Police Force known as the “Recon Raiders” which includes members of the 55th Security Forces Squadron and Navy will host local law enforcement agencies in a ceremony to kick off Police Week celebrations at Offutt Air Force Base at 9 am May 13, 2024.
