U.S Air Force Gen. Timothy Ray, Air Force Global Strike Command commander, meets with 595th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron members at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska Sept. 13, 2018. The maintainers work and fly on the E-4B aircraft which is a militarized version of the Boeing 747-200. It provides a highly-survivable, command, control and communications center to direct U.S. forces, execute emergency war orders and coordinate actions by civil authorities in case of national emergency.
