Mid-Air Collision Avoidance (MACA)

About Us

Offutt AFB is home to several versions of the C-135 (Boeing 707), the E-6 (Boeing 707), E-4 (Boeing 747) and various general aviation aircraft at our Lemay Aero Club. We here at the Wing Flight Safety Office are dedicated to ensuring the safe operation of all aircraft in the local airspace by utilizing several key safety programs, one of which is the Mid-Air Collision Avoidance (MACA) program. As part of MACA, we hope this site will serve to increase awareness of our operations in the local community and reduce the mid-air collision potential within the congested airspace surrounding Offutt.
