Chief Master Sergeant JOHN C. SPLITTER

Chief Master Sergeant John C. Splitter is the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 55th Mission Support Group, Offutt AFB, Nebraska. He serves a critical role on the Command Team as a key strategist, operations advisor, mentor, and advocate for the wing mission while leading more than 1600 military and civilian personnel across five diverse squadrons in support of ACC's largest wing and 50 associate units, including United States Strategic Command and the 557th Weather Wing. Chief Splitter Serves as the principal advisor on military and civilian health, morale, and welfare matters, mission readiness, proper utilization of resources, and the professional development of all assigned members while ensuring outstanding community support to over 57,000 active duty, dependent, and retired personnel.

Chief Master Sergeant Splitter grew up on a large farm in western Kansas and entered the Air Force in December 1994. After completion of Basic Military Training, he attended technical training at Sheppard AFB, TX where he graduated top of his class as an Electrical Power Production Apprentice. During his career he has served at the tactical and operational level of agile combat support in various positions including: Civil Engineering, Fixed Communications, Combat Communications, and
Tactical Air Control Party support (ASOS/ASOC). He has deployed numerous times in support of Operation SOUTHERN WATCH, NORTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, as a Coalition Advisor to the reformed Iraqi Army under IRAQI FREEDOM, and INHERENT RESOLVE.

Chief Master Sergeant Splitter is married to Senior Master Sergeant Casey Jo Splitter and has two children, Second Lieutenant John C Splitter Jr. United States Space Force and Alyssa M. Boberg.
