UNO Mavericks Hold Basketball Clinic for Military Children Published Oct. 18, 2016 By Drew Nystrom 55th Wing OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE -- The University of Nebraska at Omaha men’s and women’s basketball teams provided a free basketball clinic to more than 100 military-affiliated children Oct. 15, 2016 at the Offutt Field House. Players and coaches led the participants in drills to improve their skills and reinforced the importance of good sportsmanship. Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts also spoke to the campers and thanked them and their families for their contribution to our nation’s defense. -30-
