To Change a Life, the 2015 Combined Federal Campaign Published Oct. 6, 2015 OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. -- The 2015 Combined Federal Campaign kicks off Oct. 6 and Team Offutt has a goal to contribute more than $400,000. The CFC is an annual fundraising drive that provides an opportunity for federal civilian, postal and military employees to donate to local, national and international non-profit organizations. The campaign was established by Presidential Executive Order in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy and is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign. This year, U.S. Strategic Command's goal is $258,000 and the 55th Wing's goal is $200,000 towards the Heart of the Midlands CFC goal of $1 million. Each unit's designated CFC representative will be available to provide potential donors with a CFC guide that includes a list of eligible charities, information about the charity and a pledge form. Donors have a choice in methods of payment, including cash, check or payroll deduction, and between making a one-time payment or spreading out their contributions throughout a year. Donations can also be made online at: https://www.cfcnexus.org/ CFC is the only authorized solicitation of employees in the federal workplace on behalf of non-profit organizations.
