Studio photography is "For Official Use Only" and by appointment only and available for official portraits as required by AFMAN/AFI35-101 as well as applications for special duty assignments, official passports, and ISOPREPS.
Members from all other branches are required to check their service specific regulations for required official photos before requesting an appointment.

In cases where support cannot be provided due to workforce shortages or prohibited uses, consumer-grade photo and video self-help equipment are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A Public Affairs representative will transfer your video and photo material to a customer-provided flash drive on return of the equipment.

The 55th Wing Public Affairs Office manages Offutt Air Force Base's electronic marquee located in front of the wing headquarters building to announce time-sensitive and recurring information to base members.
Base marquee requests must be submitted at least 7 duty days prior to your event. Customers must supply a graphic in .jpg or .png formats. We suggest designing submissions in PowerPoint as a 16x9 slide and then converting them into a .jpg or .png file. 55 WG/PA must approve all submissions.

Information used by Offutt Air Force Bae personnel in public presentations or forums must be cleared by the 55th Wing Public Affairs office prior to release of official imagery, documents, information, or proposed statements outside official government channels. Public release clearance is NOT required for material presented in closed meetings and which will not be made available to the general public (ie. on the internet, or in print/electronic media).

The 55th Wing Public Affairs office is the primary contact of the installation tour program. For requests pertaining to the United States Strategic Command submit an inquiry here.
All official base tours must be approved through the 55th Wing Public Affairs office. The purpose of the tour program is to increase community leaders’ awareness and understanding of the Air Force’s role in national security.

NOTE: Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency tours are reserved for Community leaders, unless otherwise approved by the appropriate commanders. Job shadowing is permitted for ROTC groups only, mission pending. The Offutt Exchange and Commissary are not eligible to be included under the tour program.
Official public appearances and speeches by military or civilian Air Force and Department of Defense personnel constitute an essential part of the Air Force outreach program in keeping the public informed. The 55th Wing, 557th Weather Wing, 95th Wing, and various other tenant units that make up the professionals at Offutt Air Force Base, boast an array of experts, specialists and operators who can speak on a number of Air Force and DoD missions and career fields.
The Offutt Speakers Bureau, administered by 55th Wing Public Affairs, gives you a single point of contact to search for the speaker best-suited to your audience and event. The Speakers Bureau is comprised of outstanding, professional, well-spoken military members and DoD civilians of all ranks/grades, from a variety of backgrounds, with varying levels of training, experience and expertise, and who represent the diversity of the U.S. Military.

The mission of Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard program is to employ, equip, and train Air Force members to provide professional military funeral honors for active duty, retired members and veterans of the U.S. Air Force.
Honors are performed in their 175-county area of responsibility spanning 100,000 square miles of Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. The United States Air Force Heartland of America Band is a 15-member unit that presents exciting and uplifting music to inspire patriotism and tell the Air Force story. From formal concerts in grand auditoriums to casual shows in the park, they demonstrate Air Force excellence and precision in every performance. Their mission also includes deployments where they collaborate with U.S. embassies to share America culture, build partnerships, develop relationships, and use music to motivate and unify coalition service members who are defending the region.

The U.S. Air Force Heartland of America Band has a rich history of inspiring hearts and minds, building and sustaining American patriotism, and enhancing esprit de corps in the United States Air Force. It began as the 402nd Army Air Force Band on Feb. 1, 1943, at Ardmore Army Base, Okla. After assignments at Andrews Field, Md. and Selfridge Air Force Base, Mi., it was eventually assigned to Strategic Air Command at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. on Oct. 2, 1948, its home ever since. Officially inactivated on Aug. 1, 2013, it was re - designated as a named activity at Offutt and assigned to the USAF Heritage of America Band as Operating Location A.
