557th Weather Wing

The 557th Weather Wing, the Air Force’s only weather wing, is a warfighting organization headquartered at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, that provides authoritative environmental information across the globe. Comprised of 1,450 personnel in two groups and eleven squadrons, the wing operates from 16 globally dispersed locations to deliver timely, accurate, and relevant weather information to the Department of War and the entire joint force to ensure a decisive advantage for our forces.
