Chief Master Sgt. Daniel Rodriguez serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader, 55th Communications Group, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb. He is the principle advisor to the commander on all issues affecting the health, morale, quality of life, readiness, management, effective utilization and professional development of 390 military and civilian personnel, who enable airborne reconnaissance and nuclear deterrence operations in the command’s largest wing, United States Strategic Command, and 52 mission partners. Chief Rodriguez is also the Functional Manager for Offutt’s Cyber professionals responsible for a wide array of computer systems and base communications services for 9,000 daily customers.
Chief Rodriguez enlisted in the Air Force in August 1996 and graduated from the Communications-Computer Systems Control Course in February 1997. His most notable assignments include serving as a circuit actions technician at Offutt Air Force Base AFB, Nebraska; technical training instructor at Keesler AFB, Mississippi; three special duty assignments at various locations in direct support of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO); and the United Kingdom as a First Sergeant. Chief Rodriguez has also deployed in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL, SPARTAN SHIELD, and INHERENT RESOLVE.
Prior to his current position, Chief Rodriguez served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 55th Strategic Communications Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb.
