Chief Master Sergeant William D. Jancouskas is the Senior Enlisted Leader, 55th Maintenance Group, Offutt AFB, Nebraska. He serves as the principle enlisted advisor to the Commander, 55th Maintenance Group, and leads 1,100 assigned active duty, civilian, and contract personnel to maintain and generate twenty- nine C-135 special mission aircraft and provide maintenance support to four E-4B National Airborne Operations Center aircraft worth 7.2 billion dollars. CMSgt Jancouskas provides counsel to the commander for organizing, training, equipping Airmen to execute command and control, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions from any of the 55th Wing’s numerous forward operating locations around the world.
CMSgt Jancouskas enlisted in the Air Force as an Aerospace Maintenance Apprentice in April 1999. Throughout his career he has maintained several different variations of C-135 aircraft along with B-52 and B-2 Bomber aircraft. He has held various duties at the Squadron, Group, and Command level. His assignments include bases in Washington, Nebraska, North Dakota, Louisiana, United Kingdom, and the Middle East. He has deployed in direct support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, UNIFIED PROTECTOR, FREEDOMS SENTINEL, INHERENT RESOLVE, and other major named operations.
