POW/MIA Luncheon

Mr. Salvatore Sambasile shows off his POW/MIA coin. Mr. Sambasile, a gunner on a B-17 aircraft during World War II, was shot down over Berlin and then spent seven months in a Nazi prison camp. He and his fellow Airmen were rescued by Russian soldiers. Mr. Sambasile attended the 14th Annual First Sergeants Association's POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony at the Patriot Club here Sept. 29.
