The 101 Critical Days of Summer traditionally begins Memorial Day weekend and ends Labor Day weekend. It is the time when the Air Force typically experiences more mishaps since people are outside more often and don’t always take safety into consideration. The 101 CDS is an opportunity for the Air Force to focus on safety and minimize accidents.
