OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE Neb.,-- An E-4B aircraft an emergency mobile command and control center, is towed out of it's hangar at the east end of Offutt's runway June 17. The E-4B serves as the National Airborne Operations Center for the president,  secretary of defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. If needed, the E-4B can provide a command, control and communications center to direct U.S. forces, execute emergency war orders and coordinate actions by civil authorities. 595th CACG focuses on people post realignment
The 595th Command and Control Group was activated and aligned under Air Force Global Strike Command and the 8th Air Force in an Oct. 6 ceremony at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.
