  • 55th SFS, Federal Air Marshals conduct combine training

    The 55th Security Forces Squadron’s National Airborne Operation Center Security section and three Federal Air Marshals conducted a joint two-day anti-terrorism training March 2 and 3, 2020. This is the first joint training for Offutt defenders and the federal air marshal service. FAMS has been in existence for almost 70 years and holds the highest firearms qualification standards of all U.S. federal law enforcement agencies.
  • Combat Arms hosts pistol competition

    One hundred twenty service members competed in an Excellence in Competition pistol match Aug. 30, 2018, at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. The 55th Security Forces Squadron’s Combat Arms unit organized the event which served as a safe way for service members to compete in marksmanship among their peers.
