Commemorating partnerships with War and Peace event

Jackson Saunders, the grandson of Retired Air Force Col. David Balsillie, receives guidance from Royal Air Force Flight Lieutenant Elliott, with the 338th Combat Training Squadron, during the War and Peace event commemorating the 70th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force and 100th anniversary of the U.K. Royal Air Force ceremony on April 7, 2018 inside the Strategic Air and Space Museum in Ashland, Nebraska. An RC-135V/W Rivet Joint performed a flyover to officially kick off the celebration and then members of the RAF spoke about their flight experiences and discussed strategic events in history which brought the U.S. Air Force and RAF together.
