ALCS celebrates 50 years
A group of past and present airborne missileers pose in front of an U.S. Navy E-6B Mercury to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Airborne Launch Control System June 2. During their time here the group received a tour of the jet, a 625th Strategic Operations Squadron mission briefing, ate lunch at the Patriot Club and posed for a photo in front of an EC-135 Looking Glass, which is on static display next to the Kenney Gate (U.S. Air Force photo by Josh Plueger).
