Staff Sgt. Sammy Bridges, NCO in charge of operations support with the 55th Security Forces Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., was one of 17 runners selected out of hundreds of ultra-runner applicants to complete the MS Run the US Relay June 8 through June 13, 2016, raising funds for a cure for multiple sclerosis. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 13, 10 a.m. to noon in the park on Rising View Blvd., for the first of two Free Little Libraries, like the one pictured above, located in the base-housing area. The second library will be located in the Wherry housing area in “the Bowl.”
