Offutt Celebrates Air Force Birthday

U.S. Air Force Col. Marty Reynolds, 55th Wing commander, gives opening remarks during the U.S. Air Force 68th birthday celebration inside the Patriot Club, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., Sept. 17. The Air Force is the youngest of all five services, it became a separate service on Sept. 18, 1947 after President Harry S. Truman signed the National Security Act of 1947.
