Fightin' 55th members deliver smiles to Omaha's Children's Hospital and Medical Center
Airman Evan Rios, a 55th Strategic Communications Squadron communications operator from Offutt AFB, NE, visits with Jack Moldovan, 7, during a visit to Omaha’s Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, NE Nov. 20. Rios was part of a group of Offutt volunteers who delivered over 90 stuffed animals on behalf of the Air Force Sergeants Association, Chapter 984. The special Noah’s Ark Workshop animals included 64 monkeys, puppy dogs, bears and cows that were assembled by Offutt members. These animals included an internal pouch where patients could place a star after making a wish. All of the animals were made available through donations to Chapter 984 of the AFSA.
