Bruce Swanson, 55th Mission Support Group superintendent, U.S. Air Force Col. Charles Kuhl, 55th MSG commander, and U.S. Air Force Col. Gregory Guillot, 55th Wing commander, throw dirt upon a cottonwood tree during an Arbor Day tree planting ceremony at the Base Lake on Aug. 5. Arbor Day was originated in Nebraska City, Neb., J. Sterling Morton and Team Offutt recognizes the day every year by planting a tree.
