Compass Call mission reaches milestone

SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Airman Cory Francis, a C-130 crewchief deployed with the 386th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron gives the 'stop movement commmand' with his marshalling paddles to aircraft commander Capt. Tony Stibral and co-pilot 1st Lt. Corey Hogue returning from a mission March 18, 2008, as they back into their parking spot on the ramp of an air base in the Persian Gulf Region. The pilots and seven other crewmembers from the 43rd Expeditionary Electronic Combat Squadron on board completed the unit’s 2,276th combat sortie capping the Arizona-based unit’s fourth consecutive year deployed supporting the Global War on Terror.
