Tour offers glimpse into the past

OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. ? Lt Col. Chris L. Canada, 55th Wing director of staff, shows Timothy K. Skipworth and his son William, a painting of Timothy's father, Col. Billy L. Skipworth, during a tour of the Billy L. Skipworth Operations Center here May 23. Col. Skipworth was the commander of the 2nd Airborne Command and Control Squadron and the building was named after him upon after he died in a Boeing EC-135N crash in the South pacific on June 13, 1971.
