OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. - Bobby Nelson, an aircraft technician in the 55th Maintenance Squadron's isochronal phase inspection dock, inspects a tire in the wheel and tire shop here Oct. 15. In addition to working in the ISO dock in the Bennie Davis Maintenance Facility, the approximately 40 aircraft mechanics also man the wheel and tire back shop as necessary. Each year they process about 400 wheels and tires for the C-135 variant and E-4B aircraft assigned here.
