Offutt's fire warriors
OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb.- Tyler Carr, 55th Civil Engineering Squadron firefighter, goes through a barrage of tests intended to get his breathing and heart rate up inside the fire station's garage Feb. 5. The tests evaluated the new fire hawk mask to be implemented Air Force wide in the coming weeks. Daily equipment tests are part of a firefighter's job and help ensure mission readiness.
