OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. -- Ken Lemke, the installation spectrum manager with the 55th Communications Squadron, places antennas on the roof of a truck, April 15. The antennas are used to find the direction of radio frequencies that may interfere with the 55th Wing's mission. Rogue radio frequencies can momentarily cross with Offutt's radio waves, which is common. Mr. Lemke uses various tools to pinpoint the exact location of such disturbances and remove them through various means. Mr. Lemke was recently announced as the Communications and Information career field's Outstanding ISM award winner for 2009. (U.S. Air Force photo/Josh Plueger)
