OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. --- Chief Master Sgt. Lisa Sirois, 55th Wing command chief, presents Senior Airman Victor Wise, 55th Security Forces Squadron, with a brick from the Martin Bomber Building during a ceremony here April 14. Airman Wise also recieved the Air Force Combat Action Medal and two Army Commendation Medals at the ceremony for his selfless actions to save lives after a convoy he was traveling in was hit by an improvised explosive device while he was deployed to Iraq. The AFCAM is awarded to Airmen who have been active participants in combat, while being under direct and hostile fire as they physically engaged hostile forces with direct and lethal fire in connection with military operations.
