OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. - The Air Force recently announced the retirement of Gen. Kevin P. Chilton, commander of United States Strategic Command, headquartered here. Also announced was President Barack Obama’s nomination to the United States Senate of Genc C. Robert Kehler for appointment to the grade of general and assignment to Commander, U.S. STRATCOM.
