OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. - Airman 1st Class Tia Phakos, of the 55th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, shoots soap suds onto the tail end of an RC-135V Rivet Joint aircraft, inside hangar five of the Bennie Davis Maintenance Facility, Sept. 28. Roughly ten crew chiefs assigned to the 55th AMXS perform routine cleanings of the airframes which often take up to eight hours to accomplish.
