A Day in the Life of A Fire Fighter

OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. - David Yelovich, fire fighter with the 55th Civil Engineering Squadron, runs on a treadmill inside the Offutt Fire Station Nov. 15. In many respects, the Offutt Fire Station serves as a secondary home for a second "family" since fire fighters work 24-hour shifts; eating, sleeping, working, training, exercising and relaxing in the same location with many of the same people.
