Tis the season of giving

OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. --  With the 2015 Combined Federal Campaign coming to an end in December, time to sign-up and participate is quickly running out.

Currently the 55th Wing and its partner units are nearly half-way to their $200,000 goal, while U.S. Strategic Command has reached more than 80 percent of their goal, raising more than $219,000.

"The CFC is a way for all of us to give something back to the local community, which has been so supportive of Offutt Air Force Base," said U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Holger Dunwald, 2015 Offutt CFC representative. "Besides the monetary goal, we also have a goal to reach every person who works as a part of Team Offutt and give them a chance to contribute to something they care deeply about."

"With more than 20,000 nonprofit charitable organizations worldwide, including more than 1,300 charities right here in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota - there should be something that every person within Team Offutt can feel good about contributing to," he added.
