OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. -- The Defenders of Freedom Air & Space Show 2026 took place on Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, Aug. 8-9.
Attendees came through the gates to see aerial and ground demonstrations, more than 40 static aircraft and displays to learn about Offutt’s mission, Air Force capabilities and legacy aircraft.
From precision aerial maneuvers to near-mach speeds, airshow performers showcased their skill, passion, dedication, and the spirit of aviation in action by pushing the limits of flight.
In partnership with Freedom 250, Offutt honored the past while keeping an eye on the future to defend independence.
Offutt is leading the charge in next-generation electronic reconnaissance, cyber operations, and space domain surveillance. Offutt’s mission is to modernize and strengthen our military for the challenges of tomorrow.
