Offutt's Veterinary Facility provides routine wellness and preventative care for the 55th Security Forces Squadron's military working dogs and pets of military families. The care they provide is vital for the animal's health and well-being. Base veterinary office's are typically staffed by Army Veterinary Corps personnel and civilian veterinarians. Offutt is no exception. Offutt's Army trained veterinary staff recently provided dental care to a small Maltese named Bobo. His dental procedure included having his teeth cleaned and some teeth extracted. Tooth extractions, which can help treat severe periodontal disease, tartar buildup, rapid bone loss, loose teeth, and painful infections, are commonly performed on small dogs. Bobo's care is one example of how Offutt's veterinary experts help improve the quality of life for our furry friends.
