Sixteenth Air Force Command Chief connects with Offutt Airmen Feb. 6, 2026

Chief Master Sergeant Andrew J. McKendree, Sixteenth Air Force (Air Forces Cyber) command chief, visited Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., Jan. 13-14, 2026, to connect with Airmen and see how Team Offutt gets after the mission every day.

During the visit, Chief Master Sgt. McKendree met with Airmen from the 55th Wing and the 557th Weather Wing, discussing readiness, teamwork, and how Airmen across Offutt contribute to the mission every day. Between conversations, he even jumped into a quick table tennis match, showing that competition and camaraderie are alive and well across the installation.

He also toured the new Operations Campus currently under construction, a key part of Offutt AFB’s ongoing flood recovery efforts.

Engagements like this reinforce the importance of people, partnerships, and purpose as Team Offutt continues to support Air Combat Command, Sixteenth Air Force, and the joint force. (U.S. Air Force photos by Chad Watkins)
