The annual Wreaths Across America Day ceremony was held Dec. 14, 2024, at the Fort Crook Post Cemetery on Offutt Air Force Base. Since 2018, due to the efforts of the Offutt Officers' Spouses' Club, the cemetery has held a ceremony for National Wreaths Across America Day.

Wreaths Across America Day is a nationwide event where thousands of wreaths are placed on the graves of military veterans and their families around the holidays each year. At Offutt, wreaths now rest on each of the headstones, with nine ceremonial wreaths on easels placed at the top of the cemetery. The nine wreaths honor the five armed services, the Coast Guard, the Merchant Marines, POW/MIA, and a wreath that honors the 22 veterans and active duty service members who take their lives each day.
