Manual Landing Gear Training
OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb.-- 1st Lt. Joshua McCrary, pilot with the 343rd Reconnaissance Squadron, trains 1st Lt. William Schoen, 338th Combat Training Squadron, in the procedures of manually lowering the gear extensions on an RC-135 Rivet Joint Aircraft inside of Dock 2 of the Bennie Davis Maintenance Facility, March, 25. This training is crucial for aircrew members to master if the landing gear fail to electronically lower.
