Pilot training 101
OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. -- Retired Lt. Col. Gary Spivey, a flight instructor at the LeMay Aero Club here, speaks to eight children about what it means to be a pilot, not only in the Air Force, but in the private sector as well, during Aviation Opportunities Day hosted by the LeMay Aero Club here May 15. Those who attended the event were given hands on training on how to prep an aircraft for preflight and instrument instructions.
