Chief Master Sergeant Alex J. Eudy

Chief Master Sergeant Alex J. Eudy is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 55th Wing, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. As the commander’s principal advisor, he gives guidance and helps lead an organization of six groups and 30 squadrons across nine garrison and abroad locations; the largest and most diverse wing in Air Combat Command. He ensures commander’s intent is understood and executed, while having responsibility for the readiness, morale, welfare, training, of the wing including personal and professional development force wide. The wing delivers worldwide intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities; electromagnetic spectrum operations, nuclear command & control assets and communications support. He also has a responsibility to more than 50 partner units, including U.S. Strategic Command, 557th Weather Wing, 95th Wing and 45,000 active-duty, civilians, family members and retirees.

Chief Eudy grew up in Littleton, Colorado and entered the Air Force in August 2004. His background includes various roles across the Special Reconnaissance (SR) career field at all command echelons including special duty positions and joint assignments – focusing on force utility, employment, and professional military education.

Prior to his current assignment, he served as Command Chief of the 353d Special Operations Wing, Kadena Air Base, Japan. In this position he advised leaders on the employment of all special operations aviation effects across U.S. Indo-Pacific Command providing flexible deterrence and crisis response options alongside allies and partners. He has deployed in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM.
