Chief Master Sergeant Roger Brown

Chief Master Sergeant Roger Broiwn is the Senior Enlisted Leader, 55th Maintenance Group, Offutt AFB, Nebraska. He serves as the principle enlisted advisor to the Commander, 55th Maintenance Group, and leads 1,100 assigned active duty, civilian, and contract personnel to maintain and generate twenty-seven C-135 special mission aircraft and provide maintenance support to four E-4B National Airborne Operations Center aircraft worth 7.2 billion dollars. CMSgt Brown provides counsel to the commander for organizing, training, equipping Airmen to execute command and control, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions from any of the 55th Wing’s numerous forward operating locations around the world.

Chief Master Sergeant Brown grew up in South Glens Falls, News York. He then enlisted in the Air Force in December 2006, graduated HH-60 Helicopter Crew Chief Training at Fort Eustis, Virginia. Gaining experience as a Flying Crew Chief, advised the Afghan Air Force as an Air Advisor, Quality Assurance inspector, Section Chief, Production Superintendent, and Maintenance Superintendent leadership roles at the 66th Rescue Squadron. His assignments include the United Kingdom on two separate assignments, Georgia, Nevada, and Virginia.

He has deployed in support of ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, and Operation SPARTAN SHIELD. Prior to his current position, he was the Senior Enlisted Leader, 55 AMXS, Offutt AFB, NE.
