CMSgt Mike Moore is the Command Chief at the 95th Wing, Offutt AFB, Nebraska. He is responsible to the Commander for the operational utilization, readiness, assignment, mentorship, professional development, morale and welfare as well as recognition programs supporting 604 assigned enlisted, officer, and civilian members across 37 career fields. He oversees operations providing worldwide emergency command, control, communications, and software programming support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to the President of the United States, Secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Combatant Commands. Additionally, he supports a secure airborne launch control system capability, and precise targeting for the nation’s 450 Minuteman III ICBMs.
Chief Moore grew up in Malden, Massachusetts and enlisted in the Air Force in April 1998. In addition to serving in various aircraft maintenance capacities, he’s also served tours as a Military Training Leader, First Sergeant, and Inspector General Superintendent. His assignments include bases in New Jersey, Mississippi, Texas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Montana, and overseas in the United Kingdom. He has wide-ranging expeditionary experience spanning eight deployed tours in support of OPERATIONS SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDSOM, and NEW DAWN.
