Offutt Exchange named best in class

OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. -- The Offutt Exchange system, which includes stores at Offutt, Air Force Base, Nebraska, Camp Dodge, Iowa, Des Moines Airport, Iowa, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Lincoln, Nebraska, and Camp Ashland, Nebraska, has been awarded the Army & Air Force Exchange Service' highest honor, the Director/CEO Cup, for operational excellence.

Each year three Exchange stores - one large, one medium and one small - are recognized out of 127 stores worldwide for leadership, expert customer service, innovation and business results. The Offutt Exchange brought home the small category prize on April 28 at an annual gathering of Exchange managers.

"We are ecstatic to receive this great honor," said Daniel Wise, Offutt Exchange general manager.

Some factors cited in awarding the Offutt Exchange the Director/CEO Cup included management forging personal bonds with installation leadership and keeping their shopping destination extraordinarily exciting with regular customer convenience shuttle service from the Main Exchange at Offutt, customer contests and prizes, ranging from gift cards to trips.

"It's further proof that our stores, Expresses, Services and food facilities are some of the best in the world," Wise said "Everything we do this year will be done to ensure our team is providing the level of service necessary to win again in 2016."
