Wing Safety Day
A Nebraska State Trooper uses a training aid to demonstrate the importance of seatbelts and child-restraints, even at relatively slow speeds, as part of a previous 55th Wing Safety Day. In addition to the typical booths manned by safety-conscious organizations like local energy providers, law enforcement agencies and non-profits, this event will include a motorcycle awareness demonstration, face-painting and balloons, military working dog demonstrations and an up-close look at the Omaha police department’s helicopter, ABLE 1. Food trucks will also be on-site to provide dining options for attendees.
