1 WXG’s virtual training brings real benefits

Capt. Matthew Perkins, 1st Weather Group science officer, sets up a tripod in virtual reality during a product handover March 14, 2019, at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. The 1st WXG VR training software allows Airmen to train in locations where equipment may not be readily available and reduces wear and tear on actual equipment. (U.S. Air Force photo by Paul Shirk)
