New tool provides Offutt maintainers with just the right blend

Fire in Plattsmouth

Six Offutt firefighters with a ladder truck assisted the Plattsmouth Fire Department in responding to a fire at Plattsmouth's historic Waterman Opera House building on the morning of Jan. 3. Dozens of area firefighters battled the blaze throughout the cold temperatures, which caused the water to freeze as soon as it hit the concrete of the building. The Offutt Honor Guard posts the colors from each branch of military service as well as the American flag to mark the beginning of the inaugural Salute to America’s Heroes dinner at the Omaha Ramada Inn Feb. 16. Attendees were given two nights at a hotel, tickets to the Durham Museum, Joslyn Art Museum and Omaha Children’s Museum, and passes to the Coco Key indoor water resort all for free thanks to the Wounded Warrior Family Support Program.
