LeMay Aero Club turns people into pilots
OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. - A Cessna-C172H (foreground) and a BE-55 Baron (background), sit in the LeMay Aero Club hangar. The Cessna-C172H is a single engine airplane that can climb 720 feet per second and can fly at altitudes exceeding 13,000 feet. The BE-55 Baron is a twin engine airplane, which can fly at higher altitudes and greater speeds than the Cessna. Both aircraft can be flown by aspiring pilots at the aero club.
