      <description>Flying our jets projects air superiority. Landing them lets us do it again.
In order to Fly, Fight, and Win, every part of our planes must be in perfect working order. Responsible for maintaining fluid-, air- or gas-pressured devices on aircraft, the 55th MXS Aircraft Hydraulic Systems specialists ensure the hydraulic and pneumatic systems work as quickly and as efficiently as intended—generating unsurpassed dominance across the sky. Everything from landing gear and brakes to weapons and flight controls depend on the proper care and repair performed by these specialists.

      <description>The evening of Aug. 6, 2025, began like countless others for Senior Airman Harrison Friar. Children played outside, neighbors settled in for dinner, and all seemed calm.&lt;br/&gt;
